How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days? - That's easy, just take him to see this movie.

Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson star in this predictable romantic comedy that tries a little to hard to be cute. The movie's premise is pretty basic, a girl looking for guy to lose in 10 days for a magazine article meets a guy who has to get a girl to fall in love with him in 10 days to win a bet. You get to see Matthew McConaughey being tortured with teddy bears, a leaky dog and a bathroom full of feminine hygiene products. In the end, of course, it all works out and everybody lives happily ever after. It would all be slightly amusing if they hadn't tried so hard to make you laugh.

Rating: PG-13 for some sex-related material.
